A Bit About Me

I am a Registered Psychologist with a PhD in Psychoneuroendocrinology/Psychological Medicine and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. I have published research in peer-reviewed journals and presented my work at national and international conferences. Fluent in English, Marathi, and Hindi, I bring cultural awareness and a deep appreciation for diverse identities into my practice.

I am a neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed, and person-centred therapist who takes a strengths-based approach to care. I aim to create a warm, empathetic, and collaborative environment, supporting clients through life transitions, identity development, and relationship challenges. My work focuses on communication, emotional regulation, relational intelligence, compassion, intimacy, and self-awareness, helping people cultivate more secure and meaningful connections with themselves and others. I approach therapy from a non-pathologising, developmentally informed perspective, recognising the profound impact relationships have on our mental, emotional, and physical health.

I use an integrative, evidence-based approach that includes Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) with an attachment and parts focus, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Trauma-Informed Stabilisation Treatment (TIST), Play Therapy, Gottman Method interventions, Somatic Psychotherapy, and yoga-based mind–body practices. As an Accredited EMDR Practitioner, I have advanced training in complex PTSD, addictions, attachment trauma, mood disorders, dissociation, chronic shame, grief, identity issues, and developmental trauma. I combine EMDR’s trauma-processing techniques with EFT’s focus on emotional connection to support healing, resilience, and secure relationships.

I also provide neuroaffirming assessments and late-life diagnoses for ADHD, autism, AUDHD, OCD, learning differences, and executive functioning difficulties. I offer structured, evidence-based assessments with compassionate, culturally sensitive feedback, guiding clients in understanding their identity, workplace needs, and relationships, while framing neurodivergence as a meaningful part of who they are.

I work with individuals, couples, adolescents, children - especially neurodivergent children - and families. I support clients facing complex trauma, PTSD, attachment injuries, mood and anxiety disorders, eating disorders, OCD, ADHD, autism, grief, identity challenges, and relationship or intimacy concerns.
