A Bit About Me

With over 30 years of experience as a psychologist, I support individuals, couples, and families navigating relationship challenges, life transitions, anxiety, depression, and grief. I have a particular interest in relationship counselling, helping couples strengthen communication, rebuild connection, and manage conflict more constructively.

Alongside my clinical work, I have also consulted in the corporate sector, supporting companies, not-for-profit organisations, and professional groups in addressing a range of workplace mental health and wellbeing challenges.

My approach is warm, practical, and collaborative. I integrate several evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), narrative therapy, and psychodynamic perspectives. In my work with couples and families, I draw on attachment-based approaches such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, and Family Systems therapy. I also incorporate principles from Positive Psychology to help clients recognise their strengths, set meaningful goals, and build confidence in their capacity for growth and change.

I aim to create a safe, supportive space where you can speak openly, gain insight, and explore new possibilities. Together, we develop practical strategies tailored to your unique needs and circumstances, working towards stronger relationships, greater emotional wellbeing, and lasting personal growth.
