Meditation Classes

Individual therapy gives you a safe space to make sense of life’s challenges - whether it’s stress, low mood, anxiety, or feeling stuck. At My Appletree, we support you in finding clarity, building resilience, and creating positive change

At My Appletree, we offer weekly meditation classes on Sydney’s North Shore that blend timeless meditative practices with evidence-based psychological insights. These classes are designed to support your mental health, emotional balance, and personal growth in a practical, inclusive way.

Whether you’re new to meditation or looking to deepen your practice, these sessions provide a space to release stress, explore the mind, and return to your centre.

Why Choose Meditation Classes?

Unlike many meditation groups, our classes combine the wisdom of long-standing meditative traditions with modern psychology. This unique approach helps you not only to relax, but also to better understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours shape your life.

Benefits include:

  • Emotional balance – reduce stress, anxiety, and mental fatigue

  • Greater clarity – improve focus, awareness, and insight into your patterns

  • Personal growth – explore themes such as resilience, perfectionism, and life purpose in a safe, supportive environment

What to Expect In A Meditation Class?

Each class runs for 1.5 hours and combines guided meditation with a focused theme designed to support wellbeing and self-discovery.

You can expect to:

  • Learn accessible, evidence-based meditation techniques

  • Explore weekly topics that connect meditation with everyday challenges

  • Be guided step-by-step, whether you are a beginner or experienced meditator

  • Leave with practical tools you can use beyond the class

Sessions are inclusive, supportive, and designed for anyone interested in mental clarity and emotional wellbeing.

Your Guide

With over 40 years of meditation experience, Beth Turnbull leads each session with warmth and expertise. The classes are developed in collaboration with Melanie Khashadorian, Head Psychologist at My Appletree, ensuring they are grounded in both ancient wisdom and modern psychological practice.
