Psychology for NDIS Particpants

At My Appletree, we provide psychology services for NDIS participants who want support to better understand themselves, build skills, and navigate daily life with more confidence.

We work closely with participants, support workers, and families to ensure therapy is practical, meaningful, and aligned with NDIS goals. Our focus is not just on talking - it’s on helping participants build capacity, improve independence, and feel more in control of their lives.

Our sessions are tailored to each participant’s unique needs and goals. We combine evidence-based psychological approaches with practical strategies, helping participants manage everyday challenges, develop new skills, and grow confidence in their abilities.

We support:

  • NDIS participants (adolescents and adults)

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know I'm eligible for this service?

Your plan needs to include psychology as one of the approved services. We can also help with assessments required to have psychology approved as part of your funding.

Is this only for people with NDIS plans?

No, psychology services are offered to everyone at My Applettree - however, this service is designed with the needs of NDIS participants in mind.

What makes this different from general psychology?

Our approach places a strong emphasis on practical skill-building, daily functioning, and collaboration with support systems, which can be particularly helpful for those with ongoing support needs or those who support NDIS participants.

How often should sessions be?

This varies depending on the individual. We can recommend a frequency based on goals, needs, and what feels manageable.
