A Bit About Me
I am an early-career provisional psychologist who brings warmth, authenticity, and evidence-based practice to my work. I am passionate about helping clients create meaningful, adaptive change aligned with their values, goals and lived experiences. My approach is person-centred and trauma-informed, with a strong focus on identifying underlying challenges and building on individual strengths.

In couples therapy, I work collaboratively with both partners, meeting each person from their current perspective and supporting open, effective communication. I aim to help couples navigate challenges to deepen mutual understanding and rebuild connection. My approach integrates Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman method, and attachment-informed perspectives.

In individual therapy, I prioritise creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences and personal narratives. I take a holistic, client-centred approach that recognises the complexity of each individual's life. I have worked with a broad range of mental health presentations and am passionate about enhancing overall well-being that extends beyond the psyche, to improve daily functioning, relationships, and support clients to navigate life’s challenges with greater self-understanding and confidence.

I value self-exploration and encourage clients to develop deeper insights into themselves, fostering adaptive and sustained change that resonates. I believe clients are the experts in their own lives and place them at the centre of the therapeutic process, working collaboratively to build a strong and empathetic therapeutic relationship.

I am also expanding my work in neuroaffirmative assessment, integrating comprehensive evidence-based evaluation with tailored recommendations to support accurate diagnosis, effective treatment planning, and improved adaptive functioning in alignment with each client's values and lifestyle.

My work draws on a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), the Gottman Method and EFT, as well as Enhanced CBT (CBT-E) and Family-Based Therapy (FBT) for eating disorders.

If you are looking for a psychologist who combines genuine connection with scientific rigour, I would feel privileged to support you. I view my work with clients as an ongoing opportunity for growth and reflection, supported by regular clinical supervision.
